A cake tasting is probably one of the most fun aspects of planning your wedding. At C'est La Vie cakes, we offer complimentary cake tastings/consultations. We do this by appointment only. We meet one-on-one with you to discuss logistics, design, flavors and costs. You’ll walk away with confidence knowing that your ideas are heard and understood and that ultimately, your cake will taste like no other.

How far in advance should I book my cake??

The sooner, the better. As soon as you have a date set and your venue booked we suggest you book your cake. At C’est La Vie Cakes, we create custom cakes so in order to make sure we have enough time to devote to each of our clients we book anywhere from 1-4 weddings per weekend; depending on the size and intricacy of the orders. During the peak wedding months, May-October, dates book up very quickly so we do suggest booking well in advance.

How many people can I bring to my tasting??

We ask that you limit the # of people to 2-4 as our design space is limited.

How long can we expect to be there?

We plan on an hour for each of our consultations. We do normally have multiple consultations scheduled each day so please be considerate of the time. We do understand that things come up sometimes so if you have to reschedule please just give us a courtesy call to let us know.

What Should I bring with me?

We suggest that you bring any picture ideas, color swatches or any other element of your event/ wedding that may be helpful in designing your dream cake.
